The ADTA provides conference scholarships for individuals currently enrolled in or graduating from a dental therapy program or school in the United States within the past year.

The scholarship application period opens on Monday, June 24, 2024, and closes by midnight PT on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Individuals who apply for a scholarship will be required to present a 20-minute case study at the Annual Conference and participate in a 10-minute moderated Q&A. Scholarship funds may be used toward conference airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and one-student conference registration.

If you are a Dental Therapy Student that has not seen patients yet, you can still apply for an Annual Conference Scholarship. For your case study, you will select a topic of interest that you can present to attendees. The ADTA will provide a presentation template to all students once scholarship recipients have been selected. 

The Annual Conference Committee will review scholarship submissions the week of August 26 and contact all applicants with a final decision after Labor Day.
